'All That Was Missing We Never Had In The World' by Bleeding Heart Narrative

£10.00 / Sold Out

All That Was Missing We Never Had In The World is the debut album from Bleeding Heart Narrative. Working with layered cellos, repeating piano melodies, buried vocals and mutant textures of sound and noise, this is a unique, beautiful and compelling album.

At the time a solo project of Oliver Barrett, the collection of songs was all self-recorded and painstakingly constructed over a couple of years. The blistering cello distortion of opener BHN is about as bold an introduction to an album as you're likely to hear, and by the time this has melted away into the soaring As If Yearning Was All And More Than Enough it is clear this record is operating entirely on its own terms.

The CD packaging is constructed from thick 18pt recycled cardboard, silk-screen printed and hand-stamped. The card is then hand folded and sewn together, and individually numbered on the spine. Each CD includes a unique polaroid photo, taken by Bleeding Heart Narrative, and a full 12 page inlay booklet. The booklet is printed on thick 160gsm paper and 120gsm coloured card which is then cut, folded and sewn together.

The first release on Tartaruga, the limited CD release of the album is sold-out.
